3‑inch Hot‑dipped Galvanized Common Iron Nails
1. Material
Q195 / Q235 low‑carbon mild steel wire (common iron). Good ductility, suitable for drawing, heading and point cutting.
2. Nail diameter
3 inch = 76.2 mm in length (shank length, excluding nail head).
Standard gauge：3.76 mm (9‑gauge).
Commercial tolerance range：3.04–4.20 mm according to different mills.
3. Features
- Smooth straight shank, flat round head, diamond sharp point.
- High toughness, resistant to bending under normal nailing.
- Thick hot‑dip zinc coating for superior outdoor rust resistance.
- General‑purpose fastener, easy to drive into timber, cost‑effective.
4. Surface treatment
Hot‑dipped galvanized (HDG)
Nails are immersed in molten zinc. The zinc layer is thick with strong adhesion, excellent corrosion resistance for humid, coastal and outdoor exposure. Better anti‑rust performance than electro‑galvanized nails.
5. Export packing
- Inner pack: 25 kg per carton; or small packs of 1 kg / 5 lb polybags / paper boxes.
- Outer: cartons stacked on heat‑treated / fumigated wooden export pallets (meet phytosanitary requirements).
- Common loading: 25 kg/carton, 48 cartons per pallet (1200 kg/pallet); gunny bag packing is also optional.
- Marking on cartons & pallets: product name, size, net weight, “MADE IN CHINA”.
