1. Materials
 
- Base metal: Low carbon steel wire (Q195 / Q235 / C1022)
- Surface treatment:
- Electro-galvanized (EG): thin zinc coating for indoor / mild humidity
- Hot-dipped galvanized (HDG): thicker zinc layer for outdoor, coastal & humid environment (preferred for marine export like Antigua)
 
2. Features
 
1. Twisted / spiral shank design: The spiral twisted body locks tightly with wood fibers when driven in. Much higher pull-out resistance than smooth shank nails, anti-loosening under vibration, wind or timber shrinkage
2. Galvanized anti-rust coating: Resists rust and oxidation; HDG performs better in rainy, salty coastal atmosphere (suitable for Caribbean market)
3. Balanced toughness: Proper hardness & ductility, less bending or breaking during nailing; sharp point for easy penetration into timber
4. Flat / umbrella head option: Umbrella head widely used for roofing, prevents tearing of bitumen felt or shingles
5. Size: 2.5 inch length, standard wire gauge shank, sharp diamond point
 
3. Export Packing
 
- Inner packing: Small paper / carton boxes (1kg / 2kg / 5kg per box)
- Outer export carton: 25kg per carton (most common bulk export packing)
- Marking: Carton printed with item name, size, quantity, gross/net weight, origin, shipping mark
- Palletization: Cartons stacked on wooden pallets, wrapped with stretch film for sea freight to avoid moisture & damage
- Optional: Coil collated packing for pneumatic nail gun use (coil nails)
