I. Material
2.11mm(BWG14#) galvanized wire, made of high-quality low-carbon steel Q195/Q235 (corresponding to SAE1006/1008), was drawn, annealed, pickled and galvanized.
-tensile strength: 350–550 MPa
-Elongation: ≥12%
-Features: good toughness, easy to bend, difficult to break and strong weldability.
II .The characteristics
-Corrosion resistance: the zinc layer is isolated from oxidation, and hot dip galvanizing can be rust-free for 10-20 years outdoors.
-Moderate flexibility: balanced strength and plasticity, suitable for binding, weaving and bending.
-High cost performance: far lower than stainless steel, low maintenance cost.
-Beautiful surface: silver gray after hot dip galvanizing; Galvanizing is bright and white.
III. Types of Galvanizing
1) Hot‑dip Galvanized
-Process: Immerse in molten zinc at 445-465℃.
-Zinc layer: 50–150μ m (55–300g/㎡), thick and strong adhesion.
-Performance: extremely resistant to corrosion, suitable for outdoor/coastal/heavy corrosive environment.
-Appearance: silver gray, slightly rough.
2) Galvanized zinc plating (Electro‑Galvanized)
-Process: electrolytic deposition of zinc layer.
-Zinc layer: 5–20μ m (15–50g/㎡), thin and uniform.
-Performance: general corrosion resistance, suitable for indoor/dry environment.
-Appearance: bright, white and smooth.
IV. Export packaging (shipping standards)
-inner packaging: each roll of PE film+antirust paper is wrapped to prevent moisture.
-Coil type: I-type shaft coil (commonly used), with a single coil of 25–50kg; Or large coil (100–500 kg).
-Outer packing:
-Standard: PP woven bag (green/white), sewn by hand.
-Strengthening: IPPC fumigation wooden box (necessary for Europe and America, quarantine prevention).
-Reinforcement: galvanized packing tape is used for binding to prevent looseness.
-Marking: indicate * * specifications, weight, batch number, “moisture-proof/handle with care” * * and so on.
