1.5mm Black Annealed Wire
1. Materials
Raw material: Q195 low carbon steel wire rod (SAE1006 / SAE1008)
Carbon content: 0.06%–0.15%.
Production process: Wire rod cold drawn down to 1.5mm → high-temperature annealing to remove internal stress formed during drawing. A black oxide layer forms on the surface after annealing. Optional light anti-rust oil coating.
Diameter tolerance: normally ±0.05mm
Tensile strength: 350–500 MPa, good elongation.
2. Features
1. Soft and flexible after annealing, easy to twist, bend and hand tie, not easy to snap.
2. Matte black oxide surface; oiled version provides temporary rust protection, unoiled version costs less.
3. Uniform wire diameter and stable softness for every coil.
4. Limitation: The oxide layer has weak rust resistance. Not suitable for long-term outdoor exposure without protection.
3. Export Packing
Standard coil weight: 25kg / 50kg per coil; small coils (1kg,5kg,10kg) available upon request.
- Inner layer: PE plastic waterproof film; outer layer: woven bag or hessian cloth. Steel strap to fasten coil to avoid loose.
- Each coil pasted with shipping mark: specification, net/gross weight, batch No., origin.
- For sea shipment: coils loaded on wooden pallets, wrapped by stretch film. Fumigated pallets can be supplied for some countries.
- Small retail packs: small coils packed into export cartons.
